What we think...
Gorgeous Vietnamese bamboo salad bowls with a coloured lacquered exterior. Each bowl is handmade using traditional methods, the contemporary twist is the choice of striking colours used in the lacquer.
Ekobo are a French company who although based in France work closely with several communities in Vietnam to create beautifully crafted handmade home accessories from bamboo.
By working with rural villages this allows the local craftsmen to create contemporary design but still use time honoured traditional methods also keeping the villages alive, preventing the rush for already overcrowded inner cities.
